I've got one of the ONLY trees on the street in front of my home. I've been working to preserve the giant silver maple for the last 15 years. In fact, I've always said that if the town took the tree, I'd move. A tree can make or break a neighborhood setting - please consider preserving your tree, for the sake of the tree and the sake of the town.

This tree is a piece of Medford history, and it adds a sense of continuity and nature to a neighborhood that is being threatened with overdevelopment.

My friend was the former owner of this property. Not only does this tree hold many memories but isn't it nice to have something so beautiful in amongst concrete and multiple homes and traffic?

A tree like this is truly a unique feature and one of the greatest gifts a homeowner can give to their neighborhood.

This amazing tree is a living landmark.
It is a vibrant link to the past as well as a treasured icon in the present. It deserves many more years to grow and prosper.

This tree is likely over 200 years old. It predates the historic home. There are very, very few trees left in Medford as old as this. This tree is not replaceable and if it is removed or its health threatened, all of us in Medford will be that much poorer.
