This Tree not only needs to preserved by the current developer but needs protection written into the deed for future buyers. The only reason it should ever come down is if multiple arborists agree that it is dead.

I have lived in Medford for many years and particularly value the community's respect for historic preservation. The copper beech tree, which has stood in this location for an estimated 250 years, is a lovely example of the historic nature of our area. Please preserve it.
