Not only was the new wire barrier that prevents dogs from going down into the wetlands just installed in mid-Oct, but there is NO signage informing visitors that their dogs should not go down there. Making any part of the path around Coot Lake Leash-only is too extreme a measure to take before all other reasonable measures are taken and given time to become effective.

They put up that fence and dont even tell anyone why. Just leave the lake alone.
Ridiculous to change the rules now. Me and my dog go there every single morning and we have never had a single problem with the other dogs or the wildlife.
Boulder is supposed to be dog friendly. Stop taking away all the good spots for us to take our dogs off leash. It makes no sense.
COOT LAKE IS A DOG PARK TO US. DONT RUIN IT!!!

Total overreach by the city. My dog is well trained and keeps to the trail. Why punish everyone for a few people who dont follow the rules?
