A fantastic opportunity for Sligo. Build it and they will come. There is huge potential for national and international events and tourism for the local economy.

Fantastic initiative and will drive tourism in Northwest. Great to see so much effort going into an outdoor activity that can be enjoyed by young and old!

As a parent of 2 children we are always looking at ways to encourage them to get outside and enjoy themselves. What could be better than a facility like this? We have many friends overseas who would be delighted to come for a visit Sligo with this as their number one activity.

This will bring huge numbers to the area, and provide lots of local business opportunities and employment in cafes, accommodation, guiding and other related activities. With Sligo being one of the premier water activity centres in the country, it will now have the land based activities wrapped up as well.

The emploent potential of this MTB park is huge and every single job is required in South Sligo. Add the MTB park to the proposed Sligo Greenway and this region could become the cycling capital of Ireland !!!!!
