This architecturally significant building deserves to be preserved, if practicable to be sympathetically restored to its original condition or brought to modern environmental standards.

I live in Luton a town where idiotic council planners have allowed alterations that have ruined some of our few Art Deco houses.... this building should be listed not pulled down!

You will miss the historic feel of the sea front if this destructive policy is allowed to continue.

Save this beautiful part of our heritage. Find a more sensible spot for your car park that doesnt cause destruction to beautiful buildings

Noooo - too many lovely buildings being lost to unimaginative boxes of glass and concrete. Save this lovely example.

Car parks and new flats are a dime a dozen. Please don't destroy history for temporary monetary gain. The future will thank you.

We do not need more "luxury" flats which are essentially holiday homes. We need to keep houses like this, with history!

You will regret it, if you destroy historic architecture.

Enough! We are losing precious architecture every day because of this short-sighted vandalism. Leave it alone.
