Absolute disgrace to knock this down. NPPF states that developments should be sustainable. This patently is not.

Houses of this period are important to preserve due to their rarity. Although we are not local, we have seen and admired this property on visits to the area. To be replaced by a modern building would be detrimental, these period properties are part of the history and charm of the area. Please think hard before allowing the loss of such an important building.

How could anyone permit this beautiful, iconic building to be bulldozed. Are Conwy Council Planning Committee crazy or just stupidly blind?

A building that contributes strongly to giving Colwyn Bay character and difference. Those who make decisions about the demise of such iconic buildings have a lot to answer for.

This house needs a lot of work to repair it but can be made into a special art deco property. It is wrong to demolish such an interesting building.

It's tragic to think of these buildings, huge parts of the area heritage, being ripped down and lost for future generations.

This a beautiful building and should be preserved for future generations to enjoy. We have no right to destroy their history.

We are losing too many of our valuable historical building to be replaced with ugly monstrosities that have no architectural , historical value other than a money making machine . It is time that Planning and councils changed they’re ways and looked to the aesthetic and historical value of the buildings we have in our area

I believe the council should reconsider demolishing this building . Rhos-on-Sea is not for sale to developers to build more flats.
