Conwy Council Reject Application To Demolish Art Deco House Believed To Have Been Designed by Colwyn Foulkes

Let's keep and appreciate the Art Deco buildings, like they do in New Zealand etc. No one wants to lose all the character property's in North Wales.

The application to demolish this property will be to destroy the heritage of the waterfront in Rhos on Sea. This application must be rejected.

This building needs to be saved for the nation and future generations. We have lost enough Art Deco buildings as it is already.

Properties of this style are desperately important to the local culture and therefore should be saved and not sacrificed to unwanted and unnecessary ‘modern’ atrocities.

It's a landmark building on the esplanade designed by a prominent architect in the style of an era long passed and should be retained without e ternal alterations or additions.
