Of course I understand the need for affordable housing, but why destroy such an amazing part of Wales’ (and Britain’s) cultural heritage, when there are so many ugly brownfield sites that would actually benefit from development.
Good examples of 20th Century architecture are sparse enough as it is. Please don’t let this one be consigned to photographic history.

It's about time planners and property realised the value of things that are already there and don't immediately resort to demolition.

The plan to demolish the house is really upsetting. It must be stopped.

Money isn't everything, so the council gets more tax, that's all they care about, nothing else matters to these people, they have no sense of place, no care for anything but cold hard cash

This is magnificent building and part of our built heritage. It should be saved and sensitively re-developed if necessary to ensure it’s continued use and enjoyment.

This is a disgrace trying to get rid of our heritage. This is an Art Deco building and needs to be saved, not bulldozed for modern monstrosities.

This building should not be destroyed. We have lost enough of Rhos's characteristics, such as Rhos Abbey, swimming pool, etc.

A beautiful historic building that needs new life breathing into it, not being demolished to make way for more overpriced apartments.
