Colwyn Bay library has been an established hub for local people of all ages for many years. It continues to be used my local people of all ages. There is no reason to close or move the facility.
Retain the savings made by not paying elected members expenses (they have no reason to claim expenses during Covid restrictions) to spend on the necessary refurbishment of the building.

Clearly ridiculous that a much larger sum is available to repair the roof of Porth Eirias which is of much less value to the local community than Colwyn Bay library

CCBC getting it wrong yet again. Top quality library and worth every penny. Stop funding white elephants and fund the things that really benefit people!

We still need our libraries, they are an important public service, especially ours in Colwyn Bay.

This is one of the town's most valuable assests and has so much potential to be a real community hub

This is so disappointing, from someone who had this as my local library as a child it shouldn't be taken down. It has important historical features and people can park on the road. To move to it Coed Pella (an already busy road) is unnecessary and is throwing money down the drain.

It would be such a shame for Colwyn Bay to lose this wonderful Library!

Libraries are one of the last truly free public spaces. Moving our library into the council offices will not only damage usage, but is totally irrational for as long as the council plan to use the library building anyway!

When things like the “Skip” get huge monies spent to remedy ‘leaky roof’ and the Council screws up a ‘not fit for purpose’ transport depot on the old tip ? They have got it in for Colwyn big time. Leave the Library alone it’s a well used spot with great potential so show a little Common Sense.

It already is a Community Hub. Lets not destroy any more in the Bay, lets celebrate what we have, adapt and invest

One of the last human hubs that doesn't involve alcohol or gambling will be so important after the pandemic!

Colwyn Bay library was built using public subscription and Carnegie support. We should respect it's original purpose and keep this much loved library in its iconic building.
