This is a lovely building and has been in the centre of people's learn in many ways and for many years.
It's also central to the town.

I have used this library regularly since I was a child and before the pandemic, took my son there every week to teach him the importance of reading and books. Please don’t close this essential service which is such an important part of our community and downgrade it to a tiny area of the monstrous coed paella building!!!

The library already IS a community hub!
No excuses just to cut services while you raise council taxes!

Leave it where it is for future generations to enjoy!

This is a significant cultural icon. One of many dotted around Colwyn Bay. They're still here. After this much time. Please give them the respect they deserve. Otherwise you're cutting off your civic nose to spite your municipal face!

I think the council should re think where they are spending our money? I don't agree that all the £68000 should go to Porth Eirias once again! I do agree that £175000 should go to repair our Library. How many people go to our Library compared to Porth Eirias? It is usually those with deeper pockets who go to Porth Eirias, not children and those on the Bread Line. We still need our Library, and not having part of it transferred to the Big Orange One! The Big Orange One is too imposing for alot of people to enter, unlike our friendly Library!

Why close it? Where else can people without Internet access go to get online? The Council help desk is also very useful for senior citizens who may need help.

We're really disappointed about this happening now. Colwyn Bay library has always been a centre to Colwyn Bay. It is a lovely place. Please do not move it now while people aren't there nothing is the same at the moment and shops are closing everywhere please keep this valuable space to our town.

I think this decision is totally outrages as the money is obviously there with spending all that money on the leaky roof at the new council buildings.
This library and beautiful building has been the hub of our community for a long time and needs to remain so.

people need to be reminded what a library is for. not just to borrow a book to meet or teach children
