Libraries are vital community resources.

Colwyn Bay library was bought and paid for by public subscription. The community continues to pay for it via council tax. Libraries are always important and given the increase in poverty and the ever=widening division between the rich and poor in Wales and the UK, libraries are increasing in their importance, not reducing. Please keep this library - which is publically owned, not council owned - in use as a library. Buy more computers by all means but keep them in this fabulous building, in the heart of the community, where they are grievously needed.

Great Library, with great staff got me through my degree and post grad years ago and spent lots of time there researching articles for the Colwyn Bay FC programme. Expand it to include a Colwyn Bay archive as opposed to closing it.

Libraries and library services are vital to communities and Conwy library needs to remain in its current building.

Respect your town's Heritage! Your Library is a Carnegie, and a Carnegie it should remain!

This would be very sad if we were to loose this facility.

I'm an author based in North Wales. It was the education and inspiration provided by my local libraries that led to my career. Children and young people still need libraries, easily accessed within their community. This beautiful building, as a library, is part of North Wales' history.

Libraries should be a key part of any community, in fact by law they should be protected and then funded and used and expanded for all to access, seeing any close is a disgrace and we must stop it ever happening again

A source of knowledge from when I was a child, remaining so in my later years. Now with WHSmiths leaving Colwyn Bay there is going to be a lack of resources locally (especially the traditional written word).

This library is a vital part of the local community, a safe space in which the people of Colwyn Bay can spend time amongst the people with whom they share their streets, enjoying the bounty of literature within and creating social connections which are impossible to form in must-pay, mustn't-loiter retail premises. This jewel of Colwyn Bay must be preserved and properly funded in order that our post-Covid population have a welcoming, safe environment to step back into society, and somewhere they can access free, informative or entertaining books with which to rebuild their confidence and sense of self worth

The library in Colwyn Bay is a main service to the community & it should become a community hub automatically as they already provide a wide range of services. The thought of going into Coed Pella & it's sanitised echoing reception is not a good place for library services. I find it odd that money is always found for Porth Eirias & the repairs that have been needed there, & also the re-sanding of the beach. It seems there is serious mis-management of funding.

Leave it where it’s always been. People need libraries.
