It would be a terrible step for Colwyn Bay to loose this library. They have lost enough at the hands of Conwy Borough Council

I lived in Colwyn Bay for many years and made use of the library. If the library is to be the hub of the community, it needs to be IN the community not away from it.

It's been an invaluable resource to us over the years and still today (lockdown aside). It would be devastating to lose it.

I wonder if the people proposing this move have ever enjoyed the wonderful world of books and reading??!!

This is the heart of a community that has so much ripped from it in the last few years!

Unless the library is to be demolished, the roof will need to be repaired anyway, so shouldn't be used as a reason for closure.

Libraries offer so much more than simply books. They support the essential early development of young children, provide social contact for the otherwise isolated and are a hub of information. The Library already is a hub where it is as it is.

The library is an essential part of the town. The character of the building is part of the library itself. To move it to another building would be like ripping out its soul.

Libraries are an essential service and supports educational needs of the disadvantaged in our community. This is a well loved building, being a Carnegie library and of historical importance.
