It is so important to keep this library. Not everyone on the computers. It will be damaging for members of the community, especially older people.

The Library is a service that many use, including those with Learning Difficulties and those who have no access to the Internet. Its a beautiful building that should be open to the Public, not sold off to assumed private owners. The Town is already suffering from empty buildings, we don't need another one, especially one as useful and grand as the Library!

This has been a lifeline for me, it's a place I can go to enjoy some much needed quite time when life gets too much and also now my little girl is at the age where she's interested in books we can share special moments with eachother wether we're stuck on a dessert island together or flying away on a magical carpet somewhere. Please don't close this magical building it means so much to me and our community.

This library is vital to our community. All the school children use the books and computers. Sometimes it is the first place you introduce your child to books and you can say chooses anyone to take home to practice reading. It gives that child responsibility to look after that book to return it for the next child to read. I have sat in the reference library researching local history. Lots of people use and rely on the library. It’s our community hub. If they reduce the library which books do the choose to take and which books do they discard. What happens to the archives and reference library. What would happen to the building . Could they not save at least one historical building in Colwyn Bay. If you have to save just one building ...please let it be the library.

Successive councils have shut everything that makes Colwyn Bay what it was. This is the last straw. Expect a fight you will lose.

Keep libraries open. Libraries made me, as a child I lived in them. Don’t deny the next generation their opportunities.

It was built by the people for the people - so why is its closure even being considered?

I really hope to visit once lockdown is over. Colwyn Bay has always been a book hotspot for me between the second hand book shops and the beautiful Library. What’s the point of civilisation without culture?
