I believe that the resources used to maintain the Houses of Parliament would be more ethically used if they were devoted to helping the homeless, particularly those in London but essentially to anyone without a formal address. They are lovely buildings that I believe are wasted with all the waffle, chatter and punch n judy nonsense that takes place in them at present and I believe that converting them into a permanent shelter for the homeless would be a much greater enduring symbol of this nation\'s spirit.

The establishment is terrified now that they see this momentum growing. They want us to believe these halls belong to them alone but we are proving that the people are finally fed up with their waste.

About time we did something useful with those buildings. Its heartbreaking walking past them and seeing people with absolutely nothing.

Too many people sleeping on the streets in the cold while these politicians sit around wasting tax money. Use the space for something that actually helps people.

GREAT IDEA! get them out and bring people in who actually need the roof over their heads.
