The council plans to turn the John Dryden House into a standard secondary school while ignoring the complete lack of SEN provision in our area. They are refusing to acknowledge the gap in local services so we must force the issue by emailing your ward representatives today. Keep the pressure on them by posting this link to your social media accounts.

I think converting this to a sen collage is a fantastic ideas. As it stands at the moment all the special needs children in northampton have to go elsewhere and why should this be ? Some children much prefer to know and feel more comfortable knowing that they are close to home.
Plenty of choice of mainstream secondary so why do we need another ? SEN college facilities are sadly lacking in Northampton so I think this is a great idea.
Northamptonshire is seriously lacking in post 16 provision - this will be awesomm
About time something was available to young adults with SEN in Northampton.
This is vitally needed in Northampton !!
A SEN college is vital to Northampton.
The SEN is seriously lacking and our children deserve to have an appropriate and safe place to learn. Please consider this petition.

More provision is needed for our children 16 yes and over. There is a department at Northampton College but it is no where near large enough. For some provision in a mainstream college is just not suitable.
