This needs to be taken seriously. Just last week I was walking to Dottie Mancini Park with my 13mo and a woman ran the red light at the crosswalk. If I hadn't know better than to wait a bit once walking was permitted she would've hit us.

I agree with the rest of people. If you try to get off the side street to 62 you have to wait a good 6 minutes for the traffic to lighten up . The cars are whizzing by

Stops signs at strategic location along NE 62 St. coupled with increased enforcement will create a significantly safer environment for Imperial Point residents.

The traffic and the speed in which people drive on 62nd street has become an increasing problem. As a resident of Imperial Point there are days when I have to pull out onto oncoming traffic just to get passage. I have seen cars go on the grass to go around cars. We need help otherwise more accidents are going to occur. Thank you

I'm not necessarily for stop signs but definitely for traffic calming & speed enforcement!

I strongly agree. It's good that citizen action works because local governments are worthless in South Florida.

I live on 62 court which becomes the backup route whenever 62 st becomes busy. Drivers also go way to fast on our street too.

I think speed humps would be a great idea in place of stop signs. People still roll though stop signs. I run along bayview and those stop signs are rolled through often. Definitely need to do something about this issue. Living along 62st can be scary at times and that accident happened across the street from me.
