Need to raise pay for grocery, managers not letting us take personals that needs to change

Kroger has become such a disappointing company over the last few years. I thought they had the employees best interests in mind compared to other corporations but instead seem very determined to make it as hard and uncomfortable for anyone to work there. The blatant disdain for employees is extremely evident during these negotiations. It’s as though this company doesn’t realize that their bottom line (and even slightly above bottom line) are the reason their companies are still afloat but I guess they’ll realize how important we are when we aren’t there. Kroger and King Soopers and their management teams make extreme, and unnecessary bonuses off of OUR(not their) hard work while many of us are struggling to get rent paid or put food on the table. Many of us hired after 2005 work harder than retained workers from before 2005 and we get a horrible package of benefits and pay in comparison and it’s EMBARRASSING for a company to treat their employees like this. It’s beyond me how a bunch of suits and lawyers think that their bottom line and the union must be so stupid they don’t think we can’t tell when we are blatantly being lied to and screwed over.

They can't staff the stores now. The people they do hire quit within a week. And they are asking for concessions.

A STRIKE is inevitable! DON'T COMPROMISE! We have to show them! The stores are BUSY and without competition! They can cut some upper management to save money!

So tired of not being valued by the company. Many of us have given years of devotion to the company and they dont have the decency to give us a decent contract.
