After being on synthetic thyroid hormones for years, I asked my dr to prescribe the hormones derived from an animal . He put me on Armour Thyroid and it's only been two months but relief from symptoms has been dramatic. I am 73 and feel like a new person!

Until doctors can drag their eyes away from computer printouts and start looking at the patient, they, the doctors, will remain in their 'safe' cocoon and hypothyroid patients' needs will remain ignored. Wake up all conventional medics! You are doing harm by refusing to learn from us!

Been taking Armour thyroid for 21 yrs. Made by Forester..Just got refill of Armour made by Actavist and been on it 1 month, I have went completely down hill on that med. I want to sleep all the time and I feel like I am having low blood sugar attacks, even after eating...I hate it..I want the regular Armour back..

I depend on Armour Thyroid to feel my best. I was using Synthroid/Levothroxine for years until it was apparent that it wasn't doing what is was meant to do. Why mess with a medication that millions of people have found to help them. I implore you to keep this medication available and within financial reach of the average American.

I started taking armoir after the synthetic synthroid and levothroid stopped working for me. Armour keeps my levels normal without changes.

good luck... i am definitely not benefiting from levothyroxine only treatment for my hypothyroidism.. its my body and i should have a say in what drug i put in it!

The original formula that Forrest Pharmaceutical made 10 years ago changed my life drastically - for the best. The original formula does more than any other formulas I have tried. Synthetic does not work at all and made me sicker. I have tried the new version of Armour and it does not work and it's triple the cost. I am now on a compound formula (which of course is not covered by insurance). And it does not work as well as the original Forrest formula.

I was on a synthetic form of thyroid hormone replacement therapy and I did not feel well at all. Once I started taking armour thyroid I immediately began feeling like myself again. For 11 years I've been taking Armour and my quality of life has been great. I the last year the price has tripled. Please keep this medicine on the market, the same formulation, and please control the price. I'm counting on it.
