In 1991, we lost our family member and dear friend,
Chris Elrod, to a violent crime. The person who murdered Chris is up for parole in July. Please help us fight this individual’s release with your Likes,

His killer (who we will not dignify by using his name) has only served
half of his 40 year sentence. Furthermore, this killer was charged with
36 crimes prior to committing murder. He has since received 16
infractions while in prison, the most recent of which was being “under
the influence”. We cannot risk this predator walking our streets when
he is clearly not remorseful, nor rehabilitated.

The massive surge of support proves that this community will not let Chris be forgotten while a dangerous predator eyes freedom. The Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles needs to understand that we are watching and we will not accept his release.

I do not feel that Chris's murderer deserves parole considering the record he's had while imprisoned.. It doesn't seem to show a willingness to correct his problems. Please deny parole for this prisoner! Thank you! Vickie Green
Chris was a great guy. I graduated high school with him and he was always helping others and his smile was contagious. People couldn't help but be happy around him. I feel from all I have heard of his killer he shows no remorse and does not deserve to be able to live freely.
Please respectfully consider that Chris and his family will never be provided the luxury of parole from the sentence that this killer sentenced them to. Chris's parents, brother, and other family and friends will live the rest of their/our lives missing Chris. Please keep his killer locked away for his entire sentence.
Chris Elrod does not have an opportunity for parole, therefore his murderer should not have an opportunity for parole.
Chris Elrod was an outstanding young man with great integrity and a promising future. The horrific loss of his life by this horrible crime forever impacted his family with a pain of loss that will never go away. The grieving of his friends has never stopped. Please continue to uphold justice by denying parole for the murderer of Chris Elrod. The violent background, lack of remorse, as well as comtinued violent behavior while in prison overwhelmingly indicate this person is not worthy of being let loose on the world. I have no doubt he would kill again, given the opportunity.
