With the restrictions on the use of the tips, it’s not very helpful for this service to be stopped. Where is the common sense in this.

We pay for this service in our rates. Cancellation of this service will lead to an increase in fly tipping and air pollution due people burning garden waste. Fly tipping is very expensive to deal with which we as rate payers will have to foot the bill.

Typical attitude of Cardiff Council - lack of thought for any land maintenance. Leaves are yet to fall and clearance is essential to reduce drain blockage and flood risk. Garden waste collections are therefore essential.
