Continue with Garden Waste Collections in Cardiff

Autumn generates masses of prunings, leafdrop, etc.. once monthly collection should continue.

I can understand suspending collections for Dec and Jan, but not having any collections in November is madness. Lots of trees don’t lose their leaves until well into December.

Far too early to withdraw service, leaf drop continues way past October.

I have a large garden and need at least a monthly collection during the winter

We live in a tree-lined street. It's the second week in October and the leaves on the trees are still green . We need the garden waste collection until at least Zend of December

We need monthly pick up for our garden waste.

I think that there should continue to be a garden waste collection in November and December as we had limited collections of garden waste during the complete lockdown. If it ceases, do we receive a partial refund of council tax for those months that there were and are no collections

How can covid be blamed for stopping green waste collections cardiff council are getting council tax for these collections

It’s disgraceful that this has been agreed. We need it reinstated.

This is when most of the leaves and dead plants need clearing up.

We will use the garden collection.

We live surrounded by large (council owned) trees. Thre years ago I slipped on leaves outside our priority resulting in knee surgery so now spend my own time clearing them throughout the winter months. Therefore I need the green bin collections at least once a month.

We need the garden waste collection to continue. Especially as people are turning to their gardens for recreation during lockdown

I see no reason for Cardiff Council to make this decision, gardens need tidying up even through winter - they should ask their Parks Dept. They have the same number of staff and bin lorries summer and winter - why the change?

I pay council tax for these services. If the services aren’t provided I’ll have a discount thanks

Garden waste accumulates during the winter months and a collection is necessary.

There is much leaf fall in November still. The council has failed to replace the much-used north Cardiff recycling centre. They have a duty to provide refuse collection.
