My partner and I are both retired. We have beautiful old oak trees behind our house but this means we are gathering leaves from the garden until the New Year. Also there are many jobs to do like pruning trees and shrubs throughout the winter, so we rely on the green bin collection.

Ridiculous idea - we pay a fortune in Council Tax and get nothing for it. Reinstate collection, we get very little else.

I don't think the trees will conform to your ideas & drop their leaves to order, no matter if they're in our gardens or on the roadside directly in front of our houses! We need at least a once a month collection through the winter. Just how many of your employees think they handily have Coronovirus??

We are after all classed as/promoted as by Estate agents etc., “as the leafy suburb of Rhiwbina” once a month throughout the winter months is surely not to much to ask. We are after all paying via our Council Tax for a service that the Council are failing to provide.

We live at the bottom of a cul de sac so the whole roads leaves end up in our drive. Where do you suggest we put it all when our bin is full? Leaf fall doesn’t stop until at least end November then it’s all the trees etc at Christmas.
