Why do the council think we don’t need waste collection in winter? There is just as much waste generated at this time of the year with cutting back and clearing a large amount of leaves from mine and my neighbours overhanging trees. Ridiculous not to collect!

Removal of collection should at least be matched with extra visit to the tips to remove waste. Also with likely further lockdown restrictions people are more likely to be in own gardens and working on them which is good for health and well-being.

Garden waste accumulates throughout the year and whilst the Council waste site is open this isn’t always practical.

We have the woods at the back and side of our house so end of October is too early to end green bin collections would appreciate once a month collection thank you

We need this to stop people just dumping it and causing even more cost. Or at least increase the number of visits allowed at recycling centres per household.

I agree with the continuation of collecting garden waste.
There is still plenty to do in the gardens.
This time of year is taken up by clearing dead plants..etc. Leaves will be falling soon. I have lots of spoiled pears etc.
So there is plenty to do in the garden.
