Would be happy with a once a mouth pick up of garden waste during the winter.

A monthly collection is vital to remove fallen leaves from large trees in the surrounding gardens

If they stop monthly garden waste then they should do additional general waste collections

Lots of leaves still to pick up after the end of October. Save the carbon footprint by stopping people having to drive to the recycling centre with garden waste.

Resume green waste collections in Cardiff over the winter period.

There's not enough money for these collections, yet there's enough to employ security to close streets in the city centre. There's no need to close these streets as there's far fewer people in the city centre and plenty of space for social distancing.

Absolutely ludicrous!! The knock on consequences of this decision is a potential nightmare! Why do arrogant politicians ignore the fact that not everybody has the resources or ability to transport garden waste to a remote Council facility.

We need this service so we can still maintain gardens during this time, especially as we are at home due to restrictions

Once a month works, we have a lot o trees near us, the leaves fall, we pick them up to prevent he drains blocking. Come on Cardiff re-think this, it’s a mistake

There is no way we can clear all the leaves from the trees by the end of October - they are still on the trees! The amount of leaves etc are going to cause drain blockages and slippery hazardous paths too. We need to have at least monthly garden waste collections.

Even monthly would be better than none at all. Some of us have 100 foot gardens and rely on public transport so cant go ourselves to the land fill site.

If local government were properly funded this collection would not be withdrawn. What can the Council do?

I am lucky enough to have a big garden and accumulated loads of garden waste during collection suspension in lockdown. Added to that, the leaves have only just started falling and trips to the tip are limited. Please continue with garden waste collections as they are desperately needed.
