What are we supposed to do with all the oak leaves that are still falling. The long garden is full of leaves as is the drive and I don't drive. Once a month is not going to cause a problem. Covid as a reason?

What about all the fallen leaves and pruning. Nonsense to say that the amount of garden waste decreases in October when the last collection was made the leaves had not even started falling by then.

Garden rubbish occurs throughout the year and should be collected as a continuous service throughout the year.. Its occurrence has peaks and troughs but never stops. Do what needs to be done.

We back to the woods and there are a lot of leaves, branches etc that fall to our garden, as well as having a large garden. I cannot understand why this service is being reduced and we continue to pay full council taxes.

If the council are stopping even more services residents should should stop paying for them and adjust the council tax payment accordingly

I pay a lot of Council Tax for Council services, and it is totally unacceptable to withdraw an essential service without giving any rebate. There is no excuse, regardless of the pandemic, for customers being short-changed.

Why would they stop

Closing garden waste collections fully is not acceptable trees are still shedding leaves into December

They treat us like fools yet take our Council Tax. More time to sweep the streets they said. Buncum, outside my house is like a death trap for leaves

A necessary service for which residents pay for and not all can get to the recycling centre.

Like many other comments here I fail to see the logic of suspending waste collections before leaf fall has finished.

This is a ridiculous decision by Cardiff Council. Suspending collections in the middle of autumn when grass is still growing and leaves are falling everywhere.
