Think before you act. Think about impacts to collegiate recruitment, student athletes current and past, the Birmingham Community, and future donations. To drop UAB football would be the beginning of a long chain of reactions from all sides. It would be the wrong decision at the wrong time. Think again.

Really talking about ending a program when they finally have a good coach and have become bowl eligible.....absolutely rediculous.

Go Blazers! Advising the student homecoming committee and USGA for 4 years has made me a big Blazer fan. Even living in PA and working for another University, I still love to see UAB football on TV. Keep this program!

A decision to self impose a death penalty on UAB football would be an indication that this president and trustees are not committed to the future growth of the undergraduate campus ll

I am the proud parent of a Blazer football player, who also has aspiration of becoming a medical doctor, he choose UAB because of its reputation in the Healthcare. To see the look in my son's eyes when we talked about having to possibly leave UAB and go elsewhere, brought tears to my eyes. Board of Trustees don't stifle a kids dreams all because of some personal vendetta. Let them play. ..

There are PLENTY of resources to go around! UAB has struggled and worked hard for their team. They should be allowed to continue it!

If the BoT has no interest in UAB, they should make step towards becoming a seperate university.
