What the Board is trying to do to this team is unconscionable. UAB has my support. #FreeUAB

I do not attend UAB but a member of AGD helping sisters that will be affected by this. I hope everything works out and your football team gets to continue on. I couldn't imagine loosing our football program and all the many other organizations that go into it like cheerleaders and dancers.

UAB Football is on the rise and UA should RESPECT that. The opportunities to raise revenue are endless and the BOT is going way too far and so is their support system. Who in their right mind, with a heart, could do this to a program? It is SADDENING. Go Blazers, let's keep our program going and go to that Bowl Game. #FreeUAB #RespectUAB

I may go to school at South Alabama, but as a member of AGD, we want to reach out and help our sister with something that is dear to them. Hope everything works out in the favor of the football team! Many of our sisters will be affected by this change with some of them being cheerleaders and Golden Girls. Never thought I'd say this but Go Blazers!

Birmingham is the most football-crazed town in the country, so dissolving its largest university's football program is just plain ridiculous.
