I did not attend UAB, but I grew up close to Birmingham and had many friends that attended UAB. It is such a wonderful school, and if allowed to fulfill it's potential, this football program could prove to be a great asset to the university and to the UAB community. Football is huge in Alabama and has proven to be a great source of revenue. It also fuels school spirit and connectedness because of the comaraderie the community has when cheering for the same team. Keep this program alive and let it reach it's potential!

I'm a fan of Mississippi State and I see the improvement with this team. I also see the dedication of the fanbase, and it would be a travesty to close the program.
