These kids have worked hard all year and this coach has worked to fix the problems other coaches couldn't. Give them a chance.

UAB Football is an asset to this community. Given the proper support it can flourish, but the BOT MUST commit all the way.

Shutting down the football affects more than just the team, it affects the cheerleaders, golden girls, and marching band program as well!

It is so sad that the University of Alabama is doing this to UAB. Just sad... These wonderful kids at UAB deserve more.

This is humiliating and embarrassing. I don't even want to tell me friends how my alma mater has chosen to give up on its students and athletes. In hindsight I would never had applied to UAB knowing they have no desire to develop a legitimate undergraduate community. UAB football encourages future students to come to UAB, and former ones to contribute towards its success. Dr. Watts should not be a puppet, he should be a true leader and take a stand for once. If UAB shuts down its football program I will never make any contributions to UAB in any form. I will also strongly encourage anyone not to apply, tour, attend, or even support UAB in any form. A school that cares more about money and has no control over its own future, but has to beg for life is no home to any prospective undergrad or their families. Save UAB Football. Free UAB.
