The board of trustees should be stoned for such unjustice. What is Bryant Jr. scared of? They won't play us; it's not like we will ever have the chance to beat UofA. I honestly believe this is a way the UofA can finally add the wings and halo to Sabans and the Bears statues outside the stadium without losing money. ROLL DAMN TIDE PAWL!

Shutting down the football program will have a detrimental trickle-down effect on other programs, namely the music programs as there will no longer be a marching band. Music majors will not be inclined to choose UAB. This along with other sports will keep many potential students from selecting UAB. Many current students will loose scholarships and could be forced to end their college careers as a result of this irresponsible decision from the BOT.

We finally have a head coach and a team that is willing to fight for us. If you want Birmingham to thrive, then shouldn't you help UAB football rather than hurt it (on-campus stadium, better facilities, etc.)?
