Proud Alumni! Don't shut down the football program! It's too important to the school as well as the young men who benefit from scholarships to play for this program.

I am a Samford student, but I see the excitement and the hope that all UAB athletics brings to the city. You're not just destroying the sport, you're destroying the love for the city. Samford has your back!

I have two degrees from UAB, Accounting undergraduate and MBA. I've always been proud of my alma mater but would be embarrassed to say I went to UAB if they scrap the football program. Young athletes are provided opportunities to compete and get their education. Sad to think the Board of Trustees think so little of these student athletes.

Something needs to be done to preserve the campus and the college life that UAB offers to so many young people. SAVE UAB!
