I was a member of the UAB Marching Blazers three years ago, and it was one of the best experiences that I had while at college. With no football program, there would be no marching band. This is about student's dreams and we deserve, as much as any other university, to have both of these programs open to our students.

UAB Football is important and is in the process of being built. It would be stupid to shut down a program that is being picked up after being knocked down so many times by the BoT
