It's important to UAB and Birmingham that our Football program is given the opportunity to continue to grow. This will continue help foster growth for the University as well as enhance the student experience.

I was a UAB Cheerleader from 1993-1998 and I also was a student assistant in the football office during the 1997-1998 season. Some of my fondest memories are cheering for UAB Football. I wouldn't trade my experiences for anything! Keep UAB Football!!!!

UAB should have the right that most colleges have and that is to have athletic programs for the enjoyment of the students, friends, and community to enjoy. It should not be a Board of trustees descion, if they deem to become involved then UAB should pursue breaking away from the Alabama system.

UAB needs the Blazers football program. Birmingham needs the UAB football program to enhance the quality of life in the Metro area and for recruitment. If Coach Clark gets bowl eligible and we go bowling, then there is no question about the program being able to pay for itself. GO BLAZERS!

SAVE UAB FOOTBALL!! My team, ODU, just restarted football 6 years ago. Although I'm a basketball girl at heart having football adds to alumni donations, brings more potential students and boost pride for alumni, students and fans.

I think it would be the worst thing in the world if UAB Footbal was gone. I am a graduate of UAB and so it my husband. We have atteneded many of the football games and had a great time. Many programs would be affected by this. The music program being one of them. It makes me very sad to think there could be no UAB Football in the future. Please keep the football program.

There is no reason for this to be even considered, unless sabotage is the underlying reason. UAB football is a tradition that is in jeapordy.

UAB Honor's Program alumnus, current B Club member from Blazer golf, B.S. in '87, M.D. in '91. Former UAB National Alumni Board member…..now a parent whose youngest daughter is strongly considering UAB undergraduate studies. UAB students, alumni, faculty,coaches, and the Birmingham community and future participants deserve the assurance of continued UAB Football.
