UAB has finally got a good coach and has started winning football games. Now you are talking about abolishing the football team. You are just getting to a point where the public will start attending the games. It appears now would be th time to think about building a new stadium to draw bigger crowds. Legion Field is not in a very good neighborhood and a lot of people are afraid to go there. I think you need to rethink your position on this and come up with a plan to build your program and become more competitive in the football prgram.

I march for the UAB blazers and even though this is my first year, all of my great college memories so far has revolved around the football program! If football is taken away so is the band, and I can't express how heartbreaking that is for many.
