BLAZERS... I support UAB football! As an ex-cheerleader I would be heartbroken to not have a chance to share the traditions I loved so much with my children. The football program has helped so many young men excel in their football careers.

I played fullback and linebacker for UAB for 4 seasons from 1993-1996, and a 5th as a Student Coach. I am now a lawyer with a thriving practice. I have been able to have success in my career because of the lessons I learned being involved with UAB's football team. Being a Blazer is my identity and I am not the only one. I am currently a B Club member and Club Level season ticket holder. I have not missed a home game all season. This program means too much to too many to be thrown to the wayside over administrative politics. Do not make us orphans! Leave OUR program alone!!!

ETSU alum who has seen first hand the damage that can be done to a university, INCLUDING medical programs with the elimination of a football program. It's 100% time to fun UAB properly with a new, co-owned stadium for UAB to use as well as the city for various events including but not limited to: The Birmingham Bowl, outdoor concerts, soccer exhibitions, outdoor entertainment events.

The University and the city of Birmingham deserve better treatment then they are getting form UAT. Its preposterous.

Cutting the football program also affects the band program, cheer program, and the golden girls. There are so many students that are involved and show up everyday because there purpose is to support the football program and without the football program our programs would be effected too.

This program is more than just football. It's bringing the community together with football, band, cheer, and tailgate events. As a member of the Marching Blazers this hits home.

I'm a UAB band member. The end of this program would not only hurt my scholarship opportunities, but ruin musical educational opportunities for all students. Please don't let this program end.

It would be such a shame for UAB to lose their football program!
