This program built many of us into men. Saddens my heart to think something so many bled for will be torn from us. This program is deeper than football. Its about team, respect, adaptation, loyalty, brotherhood and EDUCATION. This is home to some of us. Its our family!!

Our team has came so far this season that who would even imagine such a thing as taking it away. They worked their butts off to get here! I have been to other college football games, and none of them have the same atmosphere as UAB. My first game told me this was home, but now we are having to fight for everything. First parking, then food, parking again, now football! They have to be out of their minds! Going to UAB is difficult. The classes are demanding, and we need something to take our minds off of class. I spend my Saturdays at the UAB football games to enjoy life. Don't take that away!

It is a proven fact that intercollegiate football brings students to a campus. My son is a senior at Uab and loves Uab football. Only 9 division 1 teams made money last year. What is the payback? Revenue for the city and county. Birmingham deserves a team. More than any other city in this state. This is ridiculous. Let Uab prosper. The largest employer in this state needs to develop every little asset and every bigger asset

UAB has been around for years, no reason to let the program end. I hope we, Alabama, gets a chance to play them some time.
