I hate that this is an issue when it shouldn't be. I am. PROUD fan and former student and will do everything to keep football at UAB.

UAB is the only college my husband has had the ability to go watch play. My niece played in the band for halftime shows. Do not take away the football program!
I graduated in April of 2014 and have never been much of a football fan but I know how much it means to others at the school. Please keep this program going. #GoBlazers

I am an original Blazerette! The thought that UAB Football and The Marching Blazers potential might not be around for my children is not only sad, but disgraceful. The University board of directors needs to continue to fund and support both programs, as that type of recreation is not only good for the students, but also good for UAB. Not only should the football program continue, but development on a stadium should begin to accommodate the students who attend the games.
