I have two degrees from UAB, and I am a huge supporter of UAB football. I am currently deployed overseas and would love to see another UAB game when I come home. Go Blazers!

My son was told by a coach (his sophmore season in high school) that he would never play division one football. He got his opportunity at UAB and has taken advantage of the opportunity to compete against teams like Ohio State, South Carolina, LSU, Miss. State and others. UAB's football program is on it's way up and will bring a conference USA title to Birmingham! 3's UP!!! Proud Blazer Father!

I played free saftey from 90-93. I have watched a program give athletes and students the chance to be involved with a history making and family building program. If left alone the program will grow under current head coach Bill Clark.

I am a 1993 graduate of UAB. I remember the first game they played, and I remember the very first Division 1 game they played, and how far they have come in their program. I believe fully that UAB should have its own board of trustees and get away from the University of Alabama system. And I believe that they should change their name University of Birmingham, or something similar. I have the fullest confidence in Bill Clark as head Football coach of the Blazers. I do believe that the facility must be improved, and the recruiting budget increased for the team to be competitive year in and year out.
