UAB is a school that is loved and cherished by many people. even if our football team doesn't have as many fans as university of Alabama, it still gives us a team to be proud of.

UAB's football program has helped to produce some outstanding and productive men. I've watched some of them become excellent football coaches with integrity and marvelous husbands and fathers. I gladly sign this petition to show my support and I place all of my trust in God and allow His will to be done. I do not believe that His will would be to get rid of UAB's football program. I'm keeping the faith that they will keep UAB football.

I worked there over 25 years and it makes me sick to think they would even consider getting rid of the program. I also graduated from UAB. They should all be ashamed!!

UAB has both earned and deserves the opportunity to have a successful football program along with a strong athletics department. The actions of the BOT are harmful to UAB, the City of Birmingham, and the State of Alabama and do not reflect good stewardship of the biggest economic engine in the state.
