As a Middle Tennessee fan, I hope that the Board of Trustees realizes the value that UAB Football adds to the city of Birmingham, the state of Alabama, and all institutions sharing an affiliation with UAB in Conference USA. Go Blue, and GO BLAZERS!

UAB has been a program with a great history. They took Roddy White, and he has been one of the best WRs in the NFL for almost a decade. They need to be kept. No school should lose a football program.

I was in undergrad when the program started in the 90's and recently went back and completed my MEng from UAB. The success of the football program has had a big role in the growth the school has seen over the last 20 years. Continuing the program is a must...

this has got to happen, Birmingham needs what USF did for Tampa. In a state that has marquee college programs and a small one won. It can happen here, just let them be them and not someone's little brother.
