I have family and friends who go to UAB. This tragic situation can be avoided. Don't hurt the family's, employees, fans and amazing city. I love UAB and will do anything to keep the football team around. FREEUAB and GO BLAZERS.

my nephew played fir UAB for 5 yeas in the early years. That team has come along way. My brother in law & sister in law went to every game all 5 years. They still go to games. And when when people ask them if they are fir Alabama or Auburn they say UAB.

I may go to Bama but I enjoy going to UAB's football games as well! Hate to see the hard work from the boys go to waste.

As an Alabama Alumni it's sad to see a state program that offered athletes the opportunity to continue to compete locally in the state. I wish Alabama system would figure out a way to support the program's shortcomings financially through an annual scrimmage in Tuscaloosa. We should try to keep more of our funds in our system.

As a proud alum, this breaks my heart. We've been doing so well and you're just tearing everything apart. So many students are going to lose scholarships and their opportunity at a better chance in life...and not just football players. You've got band, dance teams, and athletes in the other sports too (based on NCAA rules). This is just one step away from losing all our sports teams. UAB isn't the typical college and shouldn't be treated like one. Instead of letting us have an on-campus stadium (which would boost ticket sales and the city economy in general) and giving us a shot to prove our worth, you're pulling the plug before we can start. For the future of the quality of school, please reconsider.
