Please let us know how we can help make our community a safer and more accessible place to live.

I urge the Town of Norwell to continue its effort to design and construct a sidewalk along Main Street from South Street to Town Center. Sidewalks are critical infrastructure in any town. They separate pedestrians from vehicular traffic, vastly improving safety, recreational opportunities, and social interaction among neighbors. This should not be a controversial issue in 2016. We can enhance quality of life in Norwell simply by making a common sense improvement to our busiest street.

Pathways make the town safe for kids and walkable for all of the residents. Please move it forward. Thank you.

The bike path and extension of our bike path has and will help ensure the safety of hundreds of students on the cross country and track teams as well as students that and families that utilize the paths for safe healthy and active lifestyles.

Without these pathways, our mileage for Cross Country would have been much less, preventing us from having such an outstanding season

The Town Meeting has voted in favor of this for two years in a row and 65% of residents responded yes. It is important to the Town.

Forest street is getting a lot of foot traffic since the sidewalks were finished! They look great and feels like a neighborhood. Now Main St needs them!

The positive benefits of having sidewalks within a community are endless, including improved health, increased property values, improved customer traffic for commercial businesses, safe pedestrian connections for our children, decrease use of cars for short trips therefore saving gas and lowering emissions, enhanced sense of community through better connections to neighbors and businesses, to name just a few. The pathways are a big step toward all of these benefits and it is great to see so many people using them. The sidewalks on Main Street will provide a safe pedestrian connection to these pathways for much of our community. The vision of connecting our community through a network of sidewalks and bike paths is one my family and I fully support. These sidewalks are an important step toward bringing this vision to fruition. Thanks to all who have put so much time and effort into trying to make this vision a reality.

Not only do we NEED sidewalks on Main Street, but we need them on all the main streets to provide SAFE outdoor physical activity for our children and ourselves.

I walk the pathways a lot and never fail to meet many others enjoying the route at all times of day. Being able to reach the center of town safely would be a great ending point with purpose.
