Consumer's Deserve the Right to Choose their Agent!

Insurance is too complicated these days. Brokers' expertise is needed and should be compensated generously.

Without my broker I would be completely lost trying to navigate the labyrinth that is the insurance market. Compensate them for their professional services!

Give us a break! We need help with insurance, please don't take away our brokers.

No way would I be able to navigate this convoluted world without Alison Gordon, broker and lifesaver.

It would have been extremely difficult for us to navigate the ACT without our broker. She has also helped out many friends who I have referred to her.

If it wasn't for Alison Gordon I would be in the quagmire that is the Affordable Care Act insurance exchange. We need more insurance brokers like her, not less. Gettingr rid of commissions is another example of all the things that are wrong with Obamacare!

We need Insurance Brokers. Please continue to PAY THE BROKERS. Many years ago I had a Union job, and I was part of a group insurance, so I never spent much time navigating my own insurance policy. Then one day I started my own business, and suddenly I needed to figure out insurance for myself, my wife (who is also self employed), and our young daughter. Needless to say, it was a daunting task. Fortunately, that is when we met Alison Gordon (www.theinsurancemom.com)! She was (and has remained) nothing short of a miracle! No matter what our financial constraints, or medical needs are, she always helps us stay properly insured. As a self employed family, sometimes we have more money, and sometimes we don't. So it's always important for us to stay aware of what insurance policy best fits our financial and medical needs. Because Alison is always on top of the latest policies, she has continually guided us in the right direction. Not only is her knowledge a tremendous help, but her expediency is paramount! As a small business owner, the saying "time is money" cannot be understated. And spending our valuable time trying to decipher the insanity of Health Insurance is time that we aren't making money. I don't know what Health Insurance Brokers make for a salary, but I can tell you that it most likely isn't anywhere near enough for the service they provide! As educated and resourceful as I think I am, I would be woefully unprepared to sift through insurance policies without Alison's assistance. It doesn't surprise me that health insurance companies are trying to squeeze brokers out of the equation. Without brokers, people will most likely overpay for services that they don't need, and insurance companies will make even more money. The day that Insurance Brokers are no longer around to help maximize consumer benefits will be a very, very sad day.

I have benefitted a lot from the help I've received from brokers, especially Alison Gordon. With the constant complications most of us have to deal with in navigating our way through insurance needs, we must compensate fairly brokers who support us in the process. Insurance companies we all know can afford the costs!

Give insurance brokers the compensation they deserve.

Without Alison's help to guide me through the pros and cons of so many health insurance plan options, I am certain my brain would still be spinning! She is , beyond a doubt, the most knowledgeable agent I have known. I am eternally grateful for her and her staff for their help.

The government is already interfering with our health insurance and causing the rates to cost more. They shouldn't start taking money from the hard working brokers that that help individuals sort through the pages of minutia.

Alison Gordon, "the insurance mom", is a dedicated, ethical and highly professional woman. Her expertise deserves to be compensated fairly. Stop the insanity and respect our health insurance agents. More than ever before, we need them!

This "Affordable Care Act" has been anything but that. How is it my insurance premiums almost doubled and insurance agents are getting squeezed out of the picture? This was a horrifically bad plan. We need agents - hell, Nancy Pelosi proclaimed we had to pass this to understand what was in it. If a US Congressman doesn't understand it, how would the layman? WE NEED AGENTS!
