Absolutely agree with this. What Mayor Khan has done is struck a deal with the developers so that they aren’t out of pocket.

A 17 story block would dwarf this historic area. The train links are also already struggling with the number of new commuters living on this line, even with the recent longer trains and platforms.

Old York road and the Tonsleys is one of the few remaining villages of South West London and deserves full respect.

The historical and architecturally intact area of Old York Road and the Tonsley's should be protected and designated a conservation area. It should not be destroyed by insensitive, over large and dense development. It is an absolute disgrace that the Wandsworth's Council's decision on the Homebase development plan has been overturned by the Mayor of London, merely on the basis of the paltry number of so called "Affordable homes" that have been promised in the scheme. Some sort of Architectural integrity, coupled with a genuine regard for the homes and environmental landscape that Londoners truly want, should have been considered in the ruling on this plan.

We need to preserve the heritage of Wandsworth Town. The Tonsleys were built to partly house the workers for Clapham Junction railway station.

There are many reasons the planning permission for the Tower has been rejected twice. Improve infrastructure and explain how the already horrendous traffic will be improved before building something with such huge capacity.

Disgrace that the original decision should be overturned. So many reasons not to do this. Not least until there is investment into Wandsworth Town station which is simply unfit for purpose.

Planning has been refused twice on this 'tower'. the services will simply not be able to hold the capacity of a 17 storey tower.

i oppose the "Homebase Tower" project. it will overburden infrastructure and ruin the area's "village" character.
