As villagers of Norton, we are dismayed that Presteigne and Norton Town Council (PNTC) did not announce that they were in receipt of site development proposals from Powys County Council in March 2013. We object to not being consulted by the Council on the development plans for Norton. Other councils have consulted their residents. We request that PNTC do not submit the green and amber approvals they have already assigned and consult with the signatories of this petition who live in Norton. Powys CC are agreeable  to extending the deadline for the Council's response beyond the 30th May to enable these consultations to take place and we request that PNTC ask Powys CC to extend the deadline for consultation.

Get the deadline extended. It is only fair we get to see the plans before they go ahead with this.
