I definitely would like this project to be taken down.

The “owners” of this development had dubious intentions. We support building tear down and protection of scenic corridor.

Unbelievable this project has gotten this far. I would think initial inspections would have halted things almost from the start. Was shocked to see them build the foundation around trees that were supposed to be protected, and once the lower walls were up the trees were cut down. Sneaky and unethical all the way through this project.

This project was a suspect from the beginning! An inquiry from the County planner suggested that permit has been issued but the ongoing constructions seem to differ from the approved plans. The set back and the height appeared out of context for that site. It is prudent of the county to investigate this project and question it's compliance with the zoning ordinance and the building code.

As a long time Sonoma resident, I am appalled with everything I have seen and read about this project. The only solution is to tear down those structures. The owners obviously have no sense of the Sonoma community and the planning department was not doing their job. The scenic corridor should not be compromised with such glaring incompetency. Do the right thing and tear down those structures.

Large-scale substandard houses such as these are a detraction for the Sonoma Valley. This was financial speculation by the owners to take advantage of the rebounding real estate market.

as the Landscape Architect responsible for the project adjacent to this project, in which we carefully created a landscape that repeated the native and rural character of the area, I was appalled to see this built with virtually no review or input from the public. This project should not allowed to flaunt the spirt and letter of local planning regulations.

This project is an embarrassment to Sonoma. What were the owners thinking? How could this project be approved? This project NEVER should have been allowed to get this far. Glad to see community has a way to express concerns.
The sooner the better.
