I agree with everyone else to have these eyesores torn down. These over grown structures should have never got as as they did. How could the people, employed workers at Sonoma County miss something like this, such a hugh eye sore

We agree with Mr, Ghiselin and other entries to this discussion. Sonoma County elected officials and planning department need to remedy this unwelcome project by finding a way to demolish the structures and replace with a scale appropriate project. The irresponsible and negligent owners AND individuals at the planning department who allowed this overwhelming project to get as far along as it did need to be held accountable.

Sonoma County issued building permits for development along the scenic corridor that should not have been issued. Accordingly, Sonoma County should limit their exposure by negotiating with the developers to remove these eyesores and allow an appropriate project that is consistent with the current requirements for development along a California Scenic Corridor. With respect to this suggestion, Sonoma County should consider waiving any additional fees, penalties, etc in exchange for a project that is compatible with the scenic corridor restrictions and the existing residential neighborhood.

Project never should have happened and needs to come down. How does a project like this get through the planning department with unlicensed contractor, no insurance, countless code violations, no water, no electricity, and poorly designed structures out-of-scale to the lot and neighborhood?
