We want to show our support in the consideration of John Degarmo for the position of Director of Georgia DFCS. This is to replace Bobby Cagle as he leaves his position. Dr. John Degarmo is highly respected within the DFCS system not only in Georgia but also around the world. We feel as if he is more than competent for the position and would be ethical in decision making.

The state leadership cannot ignore this groundswell of support for a person who actually knows how to protect children. We are showing them that the status quo is unacceptable and it is time for someone with real integrity like Dr. Degarmo to take the helm.

His experience and ability would be auch a huge asset for all children in state care. I can't think of anyone better.
Yes yes yes!!! Dr Degarmo is the best option for this position nobody advocates for children or knows the foster care system better than Dr. Degarmo

Please don't let this happen. This man constantly violates the privacy of the children who are or who have been in his care, and he DOES not support reunification which is the entire point of foster care.
