The last thing we need is more shipping container inspired human storage units. These are hideous and will remove the charm of OUR neighborhood.

Small lot subdivisions are beginning to erode our entire city. These kinds of historic homes make our neighborhoods interesting and distinctive.

Also remember the 1/3 built fiasco that still exists as a monument to stupidity - the cement column/cement pad eye-sore that still exists on Colorado Blvd. in East Eagle Rock.....we all attended meetings and objected but the politicians just don't care and let it go through....now look what's left for all of us to look at and live with....let's not allow this to happen again.

Demolition of this home will not only erode Eagle Rock's historic fabric, but it will also overload our already weak infrastructure.

NOOOO, this is a gorgeous home that should be enjoyed by a family that can appreciate it's charm, style and history. PLEASE do not demo this house for cookie cutter "modern" town homes.

Eagle Rock must retain its history and not become what so much of city has turned into. There must be an end to this destruction at least in the neighborhoods that have been seriously impacted.

The city of Los Angeles must protect the treasures of its past. All around. L.A. is beginning to look like every big city in America with its mixed-use condos and generic town homes. L.A. has a rich architectural heritage the deserves to be preserved.

I am sickened by all the recent tear downs in our sweet city, including one of my all time favorite houses on Hill for the last 17 years...it's now GONE with a monstrosity built in its place. This has to stop.

Do not like the sound of this at all. There has to be some ordinance against this sort of building.

This teardown business has become a creeping menace in Eagle Rock. What can we do on a larger scale?

Why don't they tear down one of the many terrible homes around Eagle Rock? Better yet, why don't they build something where those abandoned pillars are on Colorado.
