CONSERVATIVE WOMEN'S PLEDGE

I am anonymous because there is a small child involved. Gendered Intelligence came to our school and shortly afterwards we had to agree to refer to a Key Stage 1 child by the opposite-sex pronouns and agree for them to use the toilets of the opposite sex. All because that child doesn't conform to rigid societal ideas of what their sex 'should' be like. I will not lie to that gender nonconforming (not 'trans') child; I will not lie to other children, to satisfy the identity preoccupations of adults.

I'm not a Conservative, but this cause transcends political divides

Women's rights are human rights

Sexed based rights must be protected and not become a ' Free For All'

I expect the Conservatives to protect women and children from predators.

Biological sex can’t be changed. to say otherwise is a lie. Regardless of what men do to their bodies, their brains and their propensity for violence remain the same. They have no place in women’s spaces, organisations or sports.

I would NEVER describe myself as a Conservative - but sex is an objective fact and gender is social conditioning. I agree with all the statements above. Anonymous becauseI have an unusual name and I don’t want to be doxed. That is where we are.

Identity politics have destroyed the credibility of all the left-wing "progresive" parties that I once supported and I now look to the Conservatives to keep right by British women. Don't you dare sacrifice women and girls' welfare to the false god of lunatic political correctness.

Allowing any man who so desires, to call himself a woman, makes a mockery of everything women have fought for over the last hundred years. Sex offenders are already slipping under the police radar by simply changing their names, changing their sex on their birth certificate so easily will make hiding even easier for them

There are 2 sexes,male and female decided at conception and can't be changed. Gender is a social concept and is based on stereotypes that harm both. Feel free to be you, wear what you want, have interests that are yours who cares if it's deemed feminine or masculine. Males need to be kept out of women's spaces and sports due to their increased physical strength, muscle mass and so on. Men are dangerous to women and there is no way if self id was made legsl for women to tell the good from bad actors.

The idea of men being able to self identify with no restrictions is truly terrifying and erodes women’s rights.

A Female/Woman's Voice/Opinion is not the same as a Man (Male) or TransWoman i.e. Ex-Male's Voice/Opinion.

Signing to support this pledge and protect women and girl's rights and safe spaces. Reconsidering my normal political allegiances because of this issue. If you can protect rights and keep recognition of biological differences you will be gaining voters.

Please consider that many women have reconsidered their politics in light of gender ideology & women's spaces /rights being threatened. You should be prepared for them to return to the left if you don't provide an alternative
